10 gallon tank that I bought with my christmas money as a kid, I just bought the tank and a sponge filter, no tops no light. I kept danios and neons in there. Still have the tank to this day!

Yeah I still have mine too. It's a 29 gallon that had 6 Convicts, then a month later down to a pair and hundreds of fry.
I sort of downgraded on tanks for awhile,
. I got a 20 long and then 2 ten gallons. Weird I know , but I have my awesome 55 now,which leaks, but still awesome.

I was 12 it was my first big purchase when I got my paper route. I'm 35 now. It was a 29 with what was called then a ac300 now called ac70. I got 2 O's one killed the other after a week and they were about 2-3". I still have the tank operating with the same hob. It has ran the whole time except for 2 of the yrs. I was in the Army. Never had to seal the tank yet either (knock on wood). Anyone else have an AC filter last that long? 21 operating yrs.

Critter Keepers, lol. I've kept everything in them before from a single Convict, to frogs, crickets, mealworms, convict fry, moths, caterpillars,lol.
My first tank was my 10 gallon with guppies and i remember all i kept thinking was " wow these things have alot of babies" Also another tank that was in the house was my parents 55 gallon with a black ghost knife.
