I call my male Festae "Jirik", thats slavic slang for little fatso lol.

Its only 2 ppl so far that have named their fish fatty.my daughter named my Midas Pedro.....once we realized it was female she changed it to Delilah..... some song she sings, "hey there Delilah" is where she got it from.

i had a florida gar that my gf named platy about 3 years ago. i dont name fish my self but platy was about as cool as a gar could get. if you opened the canopy he would come up to the top of the water so you could pet him. i had to give him away do to him out growing a 90 gallon and i was in an apartment and could not setup a bigger tank. i think he was 20" long when i gave him away and i did not need a net to catch him just picked him up. my gf still b#tches at me to this day for giving him away. lol
