my goal is to maintain the fragile truce currently in effect between my RD and O until I can get a bigger tank. (I keep them well fed, and maintain only about 8 hours of light per day)

My RD is over 8 years old, and no longer growing. she's never really shown any aggression toward my O. but as my O continues to grow (he's just about 9" now), I can see some tension starting to develop.
