alot of fisherman really into the hobby have tons of rods for every kind of lure.

so what kinds of rods are your guys favorite and how many do you use?

and what do you fish for.

i currently only fish for bass so i have around 11 rods for different lures.

i have 4 rods
a super light weghit rod 6lb test
a slight hevery rod with 10lb bass pole
2x peen trolling rod one that hols 300yards of 30lb test and on that holds20lb test
and other junk rods that i don't use.

European fishing is a lot different to yours. I have 4 carp rods all matched but I usually fish 2 or 3 some times we fish a forth one if fishing vary large waters. This is all at the same time. I also have 2 lure rods (one heavy one light) 1 float rod,1 feeder rod. 2 pike rods for dead baits.

When you say how many do I use well I use them all thought the year and as I say I some times fish 4 rods at once.

i got one main spinning rod, then i got an ultra-light to mess around with. im looking to get another rod with a bait caster

i got one for bass and bluegill, then one for only bluegill. Also have three for catfish. Another 2 for pier and 2 for deep sea. Also a few fly rods.

4, one is a flyrod, the others are all spincasters ranging from a short heavy boat pole to a med-light ugly stick. lines rang from 4lbs to 24lbs.

lots and it really depends on what i'm fishing for i suck at fly fishing but i don't need a fly to catch trout so i don't have to be good

for catfish i'll use 2-3 polls if i'm fishing at night but some lakes have a limt to how many rods useually 2 per person and i use all types of rods

for bass i use a spinning reel with a 7-8 foot poll and around 8-10 pound test for line you need to have a light line and a flexable poll to reach those hard to cast spots the fish all ways seem to be in

for pike i useually troll in a boat for them with a bait caster those can be hard to cast

walleye it depedns where i'm at what time and how deep they are and if its a lake or river useually a spinning reel

sunfish and perch i use a spinning reel or a zebco

I'm trying my best to limit it to 4 rods that will cover me anywhere in the world! All that bluewater stuff, i'll leave to the charters unless I get my own yacht! Flyrods, i might add...but i'll always keep a nice medium/heavy spinning for windy days, so I don't go hungry!
