A giant philly cheesesteak, no pepers.

good one, but it's gotta be a real philly cheesesteak. one from philly. i'm from california and i've visited philly once and i've tried several philly cheesesteaks here in cali that is an insult to the philly cheesesteak

you can't pass by philly without getting a philly cheesesteak, that should be against the law

about philly cheesesteaks, i've heard contradicting reports....do they use cheese wiz or real cheese in philly? i gotta get my philadelphia lean right with the right cheese

It's all about preference. You can get Whiz or real cheese at any of Philly's finest cheesesteak places. Some staunch traditionalists will insist that its not a Philly cheesesteak without Whiz, but I disagree. It's not the cheese that makes a Philly cheesesteak so good....it's the quality of the meat and of the bread.

P.S...if anyone tells you that Pat's or Geno's makes the best cheesesteak, disregard their bad advice and get another opinion. They are just the most famous....definitely not the best.

By the way, I see you are from Eugene.....GO DUCKS. It's weird being a Ducks fan in Philly/SJ. I definitely get a lot of looks when I wear my Oregon sweatshirt.

sleeping pills in quantity enough to deprive them of the pleasure of killing me.

I LOVE MY DUCKS! lol, atleast they're giving you a reason to wear that sweatshirt. Thanks for the 411 on the cheesesteaks. pat's and geno's is always what i hear you HAVE to go to so that's nice to know.

Yeah...the Ducks definitely had a great season. I was able to go to the game at the University of Tennessee last year. It was a GREAT time.....even with the hour long thunderstorm delay.

As far as a Philly cheesesteak goes, my favorite is from a place called John's Roast Pork. Despite their name, they make a killer cheesesteak. They have been voted Best in Philly by several people.

Sorry about the thread derail. For my last meal I would have a Roast Pork/Broccoli Rabe/Sharp Provolone sandwich from DiNic's in the Reading Terminal Market, followed by a large pizza from Lorenzo's on South Street, followed by 10 Buffalo Tails from the Pic-A-Lilli Inn. I could then die in peace.

a large plate of buffalo wings spicy, a large deep dish pizza from pizza hut with extra pepperoni and a six pack of miller high life. and maybe a bloomin onion from chillis.
