Your lfs has livestock return policy?

My lfs normally offers a 3 day money back guarantee. With a water sample - like ^^ provided there is no ammonia and nitrite.
However, they give me 5-7 days dependant on who is working. I'm not sure wether to take this as a compliment or not!I guess when you purchase the lesser common species you get more time. I.e for L# plecs everyone gets 5 days. Thats just where I am.
Although, I have yet to take back a fish. Usually if it has died it has been way past the return deadline.

72 hour guarantee & you have to bring a water sample. Only fish I've ever returned was a baby Angel (beautiful smokey leopard) that died for no apparent reason. Got a another glass cat ;p

My LFS has no strict policy, but they've always given me the value of fish back if I need to return them (even if it was a couple of weeks to a month after) because they know I'm a good keeper. Admittedly, this is store credit, but in the worst case I'm giving them back a fish that's been fed and taken care of at my expense.
They've even let me "rent" (more like borrow) fish. Two times now I've picked up common plecos from them to eat some glass-growing algae, and they've let me return them months later and slightly larger for store credit for what I originally paid.
They're awesome!

Around ks petsmart and petco have 14 day, petland has 48 hour, walmart ( god knows not to go there) has I think 30 day, and olathe pet shop has 48 hr woth water sample.... But my petsmart since I know th e guy I can kinda do anythong I want.... Body no body recipt or not lol

the lfs i work at has no 30 day garentie but if i see a fish is acting wierd i will tell the person and i will tell them if it dies within this week bring it back and talk to me bout it and i try to help them out by replacing it or taking half off on a good one
