Your Monsterfishkeeping Pet Peeve

Buying huge fish and sticking them into little systems saying they are planning an upgrade for them when they get too big for their current tank..... then next thing you know (no upgrade). People not taking advice given to them, or answering back in a very smug fashion saying they already know more than the avg. aquarist when they are showing a serious lack of intelligence when it comes to stocking and general aquarium keeping.... There's plenty more but Im sure they have been touched up on in the earlier posts.
 
My small apartment lol... my 220 takes up my entire living room... but thats what makes it monster!!!
 
probably cords behind the tank....i dont always use a background but i tape the cords around the top and side corner of the tank so you cant see them...
 
When I find that amazing LFS with all the exotics, fresh and salt, in beautiful displays. With owners that care and make me care more. A place I can take my nephew every weekend cause it's cheaper than the zoo.
And it closes permanently because everyone buys from the box chain stores to save a penny.
 
Seeing everyone bada** fish and setups and not having the money or space to do it myself hah
 
Finally getting just about all the fish i wanted, then having to get rid of them due to a short notice move back to the states.
2nd pet peeve, not being able to get all those fish as readily now that ive moved.

Lack of funds to have what I want (probably been said most of all)
and going into a decent L.F.S. and seeing an adult pacu for $199.99:ROFL::ROFL:, I almost busted out a marker a wrote this after 199.99............................"199.99 to bust whatever tank you put this in".
Unreal, THEY should pay someone 199 to take it!
