That's going a little too far with homeschooling. Kids can be cruelly creatve...imagine the harassment that poor child will have to endure. The parent might as well have named the kid string of obscenities, because that's what the kid will be called starting with A.
When the Mom (or Dad) were deciding on that as a name, the friends and family should had the sense to contrive and present the parents with a list of attractive names. The parents either lacked in creativity or had a strange sense of it. This is the chance to give something wonderful you've created a beautiful call sign.
At least as an adult the daughter can legally change her name...and she would have a lot of choices. I would have gone for Misty Sky. Or Harmony Starr.
