ahahaha feed it to my RCT and RBP

I spend a bit on gardening- Here it has to be a roof top garden done in pots. Those strat adding up eventually when re potting requires bigger pots.
I travel as well so as soon as I have some extra cash I go somewhere. In March off to Hong Kong for the IRB 7's tournament.
Took up violin a few months ago so can see myself spending a few extra bucks there in the near future.

my other monster hobbys are collecting bladed weapons and tracking down interesting plants

also recently got back into carving. not very good but its fun!

May not seem like much but I keep ant colonies. When most people hear that they think of ants collected from your backyard and crammed into a jar with dirt. Nooo, not me. I make formicariums, plaster nests, and nests carved from concrete. All desinged so you can see into them. And boy, when you have a full blown colony you really get into it. Catching the queens in the spring time is the hard part, it takes a lot of luck, and a trained eye. I currently have 18 colonies, and the biggest one having around 50,000 ants. Mine are more exotic since I live in Florida, so no I don't keep fire ants.

I gave up 4 wheeled transportation about 5 years ago. So anything with two wheels would be my "monster hobby". Despite living in New England, I ride a motorcycle to work/school year round.

My bikes are nothing fancy, they are 17 years old, but are more reliable than any car I have ever owned. I own a matched pair of 1993 Honda ST 1100's. If one needs any mechanical help I can ride the other one. Between them they have have 182K miles on them, they get 50 mpg and insure for $8 a month.

My tuition bills would have left me homelss 5 years ago if I hadn't done this. At first it was out of financial need, but now... its just a way of life. I don't think seeing the plow trucks faces as I go by on a bike will ever get old either....

That's pretty cool. I've never met a serious ant keeper before!
