I already plan on using this stock list regardless of what is said, ill go by what happens in the tank.

Then why ask?

Megaladoras get 25+" and don't belong in a 180.

Angelfish don't belong in a tank with oscars. Oscars will decimate angelfish.

BGK and oscar is not a good combination.

There are plenty of other fish that you can combine together or better yet get two tanks; one to keep your oscars and one to keep everything else, but the megaladora which shouldn't be kept in anything narrower than 24" wide. Wider would be better.

Sorry Oddball if I overstepped in any way. I didn't see your post, but I don't think I did.

I think ith will work assuming you you get them all small and grow them together with plenty of room to hide. But I think Long term you're going to have a problem with the megaladoras assuming he grows well for you.

From what Ive read it takes megaldoras almost a whole decade to get bigger than 24 inches also they move only when neccesary, and mostly at night, and that they also tend to stop growing or go to cm and mm growth increments after 20 inches.

The megaldoras iam talking about looks like this..

This is at its max.

noalapete due to lups editing some of that post is missing, the rest was meant to convey that the fish will decide if they want to be together or not.

mods feel free to close this, people can't control themselves and are being quite rude. They can be polite and disagree but being rude and disagree just gets me.

FIrst off, not everyone here is a master or expert. So dont always take their advice, cause some give out bad advice. Second, for the tank size I dont think its bad. Add a bunch of hiding spaces for the BGK and the catfish. The tank is pretty roomy for 1 Oscar and 2 Angels. Ive seen a setup with an Oscar and Angel. All I am saying is keep and eye on it. And for those saying the Mega will get too big, its not gonna reach 24 inches overnight. People here grow out fish that are way too big for their tanks all the time. Dont be a hypocrite.

All I am saying is be responsible and do the right thing if a fish outgrows its tank or if fish are being bullied.
