The religious debates are getting old. Complaints are piling up. We come together for one reason: We enjoy keeping fish. Your religious affiliation means nothing here. Your fish collection is what we want to hear about. The MFK policy is that religious and/or political debate is strictly prohibited. We welcome everyone from all walks of life, all political parties, religions, geographical locations, etc. The message we want to convey is that we are a community of fishkeepers that come together to discuss and enjoy the thing we share in common: fish. The focus should be the things we share in common, not the things that we don't. Any and all posts that are contrary to this directive will be deleted and infractions will be issued. To be a community, we must enjoy the things that we share in common, not create petty fights about the things that we don't have in common.

The moral to be learned here is that on this site we respect each other even though we may disagree. We may all be different, but we are all Monster Fish Keepers, and we come together for a reason.

Flaming also known as insulting others

Insulting others is not acceptable. We understand you may be upset about something a user said to you, but retaliation is not the answer. Swearing

Attitude Problems

We appreciate comments about our site, which are constructive. We will even accept a negative feedback once or twice from a user. But we will not put up with repetitive insulting of our site and our community, negative comments may make you feel better but they achieve nothing. Constructive criticism is welcome; people with attitude problems are not.

Emails

When you register and in while editing your profile, you are given the option to receive emails from normal users as well as forum Administrators. If you have the option to receive emails from normal members and you receive junk mail or advertising through the forum, if you alert us to this fact we will look into your complaint and either fix the problem or advise you on what you can do.

Pornography

Pornographic images are strictly forbidden. Any users that do post any pornographic images will be banned from the site permanently, there is no second chance. If you post porn, we will not warn you, you will be blocked and deleted forever. We apologize for the users and maybe disturbed by images that were posted by any of these users. We work to get rid of any images like this as soon as they are posted. We can't be on the site 24 hours a day, but as soon as something like this is detected it will be removed immediately along with the user responsible.

Conclusion

These rules are not asking for you to do anything out of the ordinary. Just follow these rules and enjoy the site. If you break these rules there will be consequences and we are not liable for anything you do on this site. Respect the rules and the people who enforce the rules will respect you.

The people who enforce the rules are Administrators and Moderators. Decisions made by these members are final and if questioned should be done in the appropriate manner. If you feel you have been mistreated by a member of staff on the forum, you can PM or EMAIL another admin or moderator and we will look into your complaint.

I can see an infraction I received when viewing my public (not manageable) profile, perhaps it's just a weird anomaly, I figured this meant they were publically viewable.
