Hi peeps im thinking of getting a clown or a royal knife fish, but im unsure if my tank is big enough its a 5x2x2 to keep it in for life? Could i have your thoughts please....Thanks.

not for life, but for a long time. It would take one a while to outgrow that tank.

Agreed.

Thank you both for your comments  . Think i will give it a miss as i dont want to go any bigger on tank size.

ya u would need more like a 6 by 3 by 2 tank for a clown thats even small but it would hold one well if u do ever get on ethere awesome my best regards

I have 6 knifefishes in my 75 gal tank, 1 royal and and 5 clowns. Am I overstocking? They seem to grow nicely, I got my royal at 8" it grew to 13" in 5 months.
