Neat. We will do mine starting with best and working the way down!
1. Senegal Bichir. Cause I work in paleo and they are totally boss. I guess I'll take any Polypterus but I prefer senegalus.
2. Geophagus complex, preferably surinamensis, altiforns or tapajos. Pretty mouth brooders!
3. Synodontis petricola. Adorable, small, technically parasiting breeders.
4. Flag cichlid Mesonauta complex preferably festivus or similar. Cute as hell and has some weird defensive behaviours.
5. Damsel cichlid Neolamprologus brichardi. Generational rearing as a family in a fish? yikes.
6. Satanoperca. The name says it all, so damn pretty.
7. Raphael catfish. They are so cool looking!
8. Uaru. If only they didn't get so big, they'd be higher on the list.
9. Exodon paradoxous bucktooth tetra. They look completely awesome and their swarm feeding tactics are incredible. Bonus: manageable size too, so you can get lots!
10. Probably some of the botia loaches in here. They crack me up.
