I would hold still, watch it as long as I could, and be very glad that I had a chance to see a wolf in the wild.

If it didn't see me, i wouldn't do anything, but if it approached me in an agressive snarling manner i would back off and climb up a tree as quick as i could.

Wolves are great animals...IMHO I think their agressive/dangerous reputation is over-rated and mostly myth.

I'd love to see a wolf in the wild. When I was hiking/camping in Central Ontario a few years ago, wolves lived in the area where I was, but I never heard or saw any.

I would be first of all shocked for seeing a wolf in the wild and then I would think damn this is awesome. Knowing me I will try and approach it to socialize with it. I love animals. It doesn't matter what it is.
