The black one is my baby wolf..Tara belle She's mostly artic wolf mixed with belgan shepherd. Theres another picture of her as a pup.

The other guy with my daughter was Jerry Lee....130lb Saarloos wolfdog. We lost Jerry to cancer at the age of 18 last winter. When Jerry Lee was 9 and my daughter Tory 7... He saved her life...making this one of my most treasured photos.

I'm not sure what site it is your talking about but I only posted pictures of my own companions on my own property. I've worked with a lot of wolfdog rescues but I don't recognize that one.

Oh sight.....LOL sorry...good looking WD. I was thinking internet.....

Oh Tara Belles a long way from bieng a puppy anymore she's a very trim 115lb girl with lightening like reflexes and more intelligance than is good for her.

My daughter and a friend of hers was attacked by a stray. The friend was mauled but Jerry Cleared our 6' fence and got there in time to save Tory from harm.

I probably wouldnt even notice him cause Id be so busy knocking it out with Little Red Ridinghood.

To begin with you'll never see a wolf in the wild unless it allows it. They can detect you well over a mile before you can see them.

In the entire history of the US there has not been a single case of a human bieng attacked by a healthy wild wolf so you're in no danger in any case.

I have worked closely with Wolves and Wolfdogs for slighty over 30 years. This expierance includes working on three reintroduction programs thus far.
Your honestly in far more danger walking up to some ranchers steer than you are from a wild wolf.

Yeah, that is why I would be so happy to see one. It would be even better than the time I saw a peregrine falcon take a goose out of the sky and crash it into the ground less than 50' from me, and just the memory of that makes me smile.
The only documented cases of wolves killing people that I can find since at least WWII was in India where one small pack was involved in a few cases of taking children, the alpha female was killed and the human predation stopped.

  I hate to rain on your parade Ron but little red is famoius...she CAN do better....
