I think everyone with a youtube account got that offer. I didn't bother with it since I use the audioswap a lot.
I believe if you hit a threshold on how many people watch you video... you will start to get $.02 per view. That don't seem like a lot on money, but if you get 1,000,000 views... that is $20,000. That is why alot of music videos for various artists are on YouTube only nowadays. You get 3 or 4 million hits on your music video, you make your money back on the cost of producing the video.
Yeah I just signed up on a few of my videos. A lot of my videos have background music that I don't own, so I can't monetize those.
So how much $$$ arew poeple making from this ? I have had several offers from them also. Sucks though my first tube acct that I cant access has all of the views.
there a lot of people who get more. i know a lot of the youtubers who post a lot of video game videos, people who are "youtube famous" get around 5k a month off their videos... but they do this stuff for a living and making videos is their actual day job, so if you want to make a lot, you have to be consistent with the videos and have a lot of views on em.
