Breeding is outdated. I believe Madduff in loaches.com was able to breed them. I should update everything I did since 2006.

As for the temperature concern, what's the current temp they are in? You need to slowly acclimate them if the temperature difference is wide. Keep the temp consistently at 80-84 degrees for the whole quarantine period and keep them well fed at all times.
