Well, no rush here. I filled the tank, set up filters and powerheads, put in some driftwood. Now just to heat it up, which I'll start later today but I'll start adding buckets of warm water first so the heater basically just starts at about 79 degrees. The one Emperor 400 is making a lot of noise so Ill be replacing it if I cant seat the impeller better or whatever the problem is. I also decided I might add a canister down the road after all, I like the fluval 406. Im not a fan of canisters but it may be the best option to keep the tank pristine. So far I have two emperor 400s and a 125 gallon rated sponge filter.
