Thanks again everybody, I'm writing out some ideas for myself to get them all straight. Also, I just received news that my wonderful girlfriend is getting me a 20 gallon tank for Christmas! She new how much I loved fish and wanted to get me started (she can kinda be amazing like that, sometimes) I'll prob make the 20 gallon into a mini salt water clown tank, and keep the 75 gallon, that I'll be getting in the near future, for the Tropheus.

A question; How much will the 75 Gallon tank cost me? I know with different retailers and eBay and what-not prices will be everywhere, but I'm just looking for a ball-park estimate. I know the Tropheus will cost me 35-45 a pop.

check Craigslist for a tank/stand combo. If you dont mind buying used, they go for about $250-$350 on there, sometimes including everything you need. Depending on who you talk to Tropheus go for $12-$25 but someone very proud of their fish might charge more. good luck

You can get very nice trophs for less than 10 per fish if you know the right people. I have bought a 75 on craigslist for 100 bucks with a stand. I normally wont pay more than a dollar per gallon for a used tank, watch for tanks that leak. Many tanks on craigslist are leakers.
