Zaire Blue vs. Goldy Pleco

Tough decision you guys. 4x 2" goldy plecos OR 8x 1" Zaire Blue Kapampa frontosa?

Assuming tank size and tankmates is not an issue.

Front easily....mainly because my fav color is blue.

If the front was at least 6", it would be any easy choice, but they take too long to grow out for my taste, so I voted for the goldies.

Goldies take even longer to grow don't they? Which is better, 4x full grown goldies or 8x full grown zaires?

I choose Cichla... No really I would go with the fronts I get bored of plecos pretty fast though

I still say Fronts, eight of them will be worth more than 4 goldie plecos in the end. Obviously it's not about the money, but 5 years from now it just may be. Like I said before, I'm biased. lol

Fronts won hands down for me. A huge colony is amazing to watch.

I just got a group of 20 fronts so I would have to vote for them! Zaires are such beautiful fish . . . I went with Mobas

Give me the goldies anyday. They actually are a fast growing pleco and very active.
