At this point I'm leaning towards the fronts. L14s are very active plecos, but they are still plecos that hide from time to time. The colony of Zaire Blue fronts would be nice.

Goldies take even longer to grow don't they? Which is better, 4x full grown goldies or 8x full grown zaires?
I have never kept them before, but I doubt it. Fronts take years to get anywhere near their maximum size.

Kapampa it is then. Just gotta sell my black arowana first, if I can't sell my black arowana I'm just gonna trade my black arowana into the LFS for 4x L14 goldy plecos.

This thread got moved to plecos and the plecos are still losing. Seriously get Fronts or get what YOU want.

A ton of people have Zaire now.
10 years ago, few did.
Still a cool fish though.

The goldie is a much less common fish.
Check the for sale sections, alot of Zaire and Moba come up for sale.
Not nearly as many goldie's.

The zaire will breed eventually and you could make back some of the investment, though in 3-5 years, the price for fry may be $10 each.
Not going to be able to breed the goldie.

So it depends what you like, pleco's won't swim around a whole lot.
Some people will be impressed by that pleco, some by that frontosa.
One is easier to breed.

IF you raise up those juvies, the goldie will be worth more as adults then a tank raised Zaire.
Frontosa are less demanding of water conditions compared to that pleco.

I'd just keep the black aro
