Zaire fronts question

Sorry to be the guy that corrects you, but Zaires which were listed in the original post, are all Gibberosa. I honestly learned this in the last year myself. In the simplest terms it is like this. The Northern lake species like Burundi and Kigoma are Frontosa. The Mid to southern lake species including all Tanzanian, Zambian, and Zaires are in fact Gibberosa. It mostly has to do with a higher body with more vertical scales, but I believe there are more teeth as well. Moba are in Zaire as well as many others including Mikula, Kitumba, Kampampa, Tembwe, and the list goes on. Techinically All of the lower lake species being Gibberosa are the same species, but there may be a change comming up. As for the northern species there are two, the seven stripe variant (Kigoma) and all of the other typically Burundi collection points. So in total there are only three species of what are commonly referred to as Frontosa, but Many collection points, and many subtle and not so subtle differences.
