I have a 55g tank (lots of rock caves) with some african peacocks and wanted a bottom dweller to sift through the substrate and saw a lot of people have clown loaches in their cichlid tanks. Me personally, I am not a huge fan of clown loaches as they get massive and would take up a ton of space ( I know it would take a long time to get that size but I don't want to deal with that problem when it comes). I know zebra loaches are pretty similar to clowns but don't get as big which is what I am looking for.
Can anyone think of issues that could arise from adding zebra loaches or do you think it would be fine?
