it is crazy that they have almost a two faced approach to this issue in particular, i guess it just shows how complicated the politics of conservation can be especially in a country like brazil. i'm sure the people who do care want to avoid any further stress on the population but at the same time progess and the money men demand more energy and they get what they want in most cases. i dont really expect a ban will do much anyway, like they say if they want them in asia they will still export them under a different label.
