Zebra Pleco

my friend breeds them if you really want some, but just so you know they go for 100 bucks an inch.
 
i heard somewhere that thier endangered, is that true?

I once bought a clown instead of a zebra-it was only 1/4" and no clown shape yet, but only $25.00. Like the guy said, if it seems too good to be true...
 
If I could find some I have a tank waiting especially for 1m and about 2 females.
and eventually breed them.
 
price keep going up for the zebra...:D
 
hopefully theyll come down. lucky you didnt buy it. we have a type of pleco here in the UK that has adopted the name "false zebra", theyre not too expensive. cant remember which. guppy i think knows...
 
Yeah we have those too. I forget the name off the top of my head though. Zebra costs will be coming down eventually, I hope. There are so many people getting into breeding of these fish. Rallysman said there is a guy near him that drops them off at his LFS and they sell them for $125!! I'd love to see prices more like that!!
