Zebra Pleco

Poor old L168, it gets that many different names to sell it on! I have several fish that were labled zebra's, L340, L66, L399 Its OK by me because I can ID them(ish) and ignore common names, plus I love the hypans. My fish guy all ways lables them zebs but knows better, just cant help himself as its an easy sell to him!
 
HAHA! That would be terrible! L168 for a L046, I have heard of people calling them the chocolate zebra... hmm doesn't quite strike me as much as the real thing
 
theortically they are false advertising that particular fish for something it is not though so... i duno how they get around selling it
 
because common names are commonly accepted to just be whatever they want to call it. I can call a fish a zebra, but that doesn't mean its an L046. If they label it as L046 then we're talking false advertisement.

no i meant that they sell it as a L046
 
Yeah I gathered that after I posted about it. Some people will do anything to make the big bucks.
 
here in Oz a zebra is worth $1000 :WHOA:
not that I know any one who has paid that much
someone sold 4 for $4500 :screwy: +
