zebra plecs

Well remember to post up when they do! Will be interested to see how many months you get them to start spawning.

For a 2" sub adult $200 is a VERY fair price. Like the others said finding a adult breeding pair for sale is going to be close to impossible. Your best bet is to start with a group of 5-7 growouts, which won't be cheap.

$200 for a sub adult would be killer, but that is a long wait for the breeder, and more tanks. The words cheap, zebra and pleco will rarely be seen in the same sentence, doesn't really matter what size. :D

Trying to get rich on h. zebra? I have to say--not only is that a horrible idea, it also makes you one of the least favorable aquarists TO sell the zebs to.

Here's some advice: try fancier ancistrus domesticus morphs.

I agree, for something so easy to breed, they still move fast.

Have you bred plecos before, or is this a get-rich-quick scheme? If you've bred before, try ancistrus dolichopterus, or L134 leopard frog plecos.
