It's been a while since I last took pictures of my little STO Zeeboo, so I decided that I'd go ahead and do a few now. She recently built up another burrow outside of her initial one (which is inside her hide) and I figured this would be the perfect time to snap some shots of her.

She's easily amongst the coolest of pets I've owned, and I can safely say she's one of my favorites! I'll get some full body shot when she's out and about the next time. I just didn't want to dig her up out of her snug little den.

The pics were all flipped "horizontally" when I edited them, but for some reason, when uploading them to photobucket the ones that were "vertical" were made that way again. Sorry about that.

Thats a lot different from the ones that sneak in my garage but pic 6 is pretty much the same reaction lol.
Very cute I shall have to keep the gf far away from this.

Can you handle her?
I've read they dont really like to be held.
Cool pets though!

Haha, :)

Thanks for the kind words folks! She's definitely a cutie and a half! She's very, very sweet as well. I snagged her last January when she was just a little tyke, and I worked with her for about 2 months straight (held her everynight and such) so she's very laid back and mellow where I'm concerned.

She's very used to the routine, sees me coming up to the cage, runs up to the top and waits there for me to take her out. After handling her I always hook her up with a few large crickets as a treat.

Though I must admit, I don't think I'd ever go as far as letting her off of me when she's out and about. She can be pretty quick and a part of me thinks that she'd be more then willing to bolt if she ever made her way to the floor haha. Course I could be wrong, but hey, why risk it eh?

Thanks for looking and I'm glad you guys / gals enjoy the Zeebs.

Will it ever require meat?
What other foods do you offer?
Meat is actually one of the biggest parts of her diet at this moment. When she was younger she seemed more then happy to accept softer fruits and loved different fruit / veggie flavored babyfoods. But as time went on she seemed to steer away from them and go almost entirely carnivore.

I've read on a few sites that people had this same behavior after a while. The main part of her diet is a mixture of Eukanuba Chicken Formula Cat food, and Zupreems Chicken formula Ferret food. She seems to love them to death.

Once a month she'll get a pinkie mouse as a protein package (which I must say she relishes) and I usually give her 15 or so large crickets throughout the week.

I also give her bits of boiled chicken whenever I have it after it cools down. I recently offered her some fresh fruits and a bit of baby food and she still has no interest in it. So I'm thinking that phase is pretty much out of here.

I've tried Briskies Possum feed for her as well and she has exactly ZERO interest in that so I don't even bother with it. But when looking at the ingredients I can see why. It's almost all fillers (tons of grain and the like).

But yeah, heh, she definitely digs the meat :)
