Awesome fish. I have one in with my poly's, and it eats small pellets, flake, insects & worms. It's quite hardy, and you can see the resemblance to the aro's. Love the huge landing barge mouth.

I don't have space for an aro yet, so I have my butterfly!

Yer i had one of these fish for ages, and they are so cool, i had him in with my aggro aussie natives and the pantadon bullied them!

Hey. Just some questions for any ABF keepers out there:

1) Can I keep ABFs in a 24x16x16?
2) If so, how many?
3) Would they predate on corydoras and whiptail plecos?

1. Yes
2. Maybe 2, but they may fight eachother.
3. probably not since they stay to the surface all the time.
