ZENNZZO's duce duce five...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
After all that I need to clean out the garage so I can set up all my fabrication and maintenance gear and tools.

PT57 and myself are currently working on a TAP water filter/de-chlorinator, plumbed to the tanks from house supply.

I have drilled my 225 for a 33% waterchange, by placing a 1.5" bulkhead 1/3rd the distance down from the top of the waterline to the bottom of the tank.
I plumbed a .75" ball valve to a Female Hose Fitting... and into the 1.5" bulkhead...
This way I can use the male hose fitting on the hose to connect to, and drain to yard/barell/flowerbed/etc...
then;
to refill the tank from house supply via DeChlorinator, I already am connected, so I just have to connect the female hose fitting to the male hose fitting on the filter/hose bib/ pump / whatever...

We are still running tests on my RO/DI unit...A mix with non-RO water to get a net 6.8 is what I am looking for.

I am still sure I want to premix in a couple of BRUTE 40g drums and the W/C with that, because I am just not comfortable with the drip systems I have seen as far a being reliable AND cost effictive...

I just do not like the idea of not having an unlimited amount of water onhand for anything that might require it...

Well that's all for now PIX to follow....:headbang2:D;)

You need to just jump on my band wagon. I spent $140 (which could have been cheaper. hindsight being 20/20) and still have perfect parameters coming out of the tap. I haven't even touched the carbon yet. It would only be about $10 to change it out and be completely fresh again. Even cheaper if you buy it in bulk. Now that, my friend, should be plenty efficient for you.:D

Ditching the DI and just using RO will bump the ph up alone.

Yup I have been toying with the idea, I dropped the DI cartridge, and located a couple three cartridge housings...Just need the time and energy to get it sorted out...Thanks Guys for the Info...~B
