Funny you should say, I just so happen to be doing one right now...about this time EVERY DAY!!
An 82f degree creek would be nice right about now!!... I'd just pump in from it and overflow it back...

They both have bars at this age...Probably won't be able to sex them for another 6 months...

When they are mature, the males are all Jag like spots and the Females typically keep more of the vertical bars...
Fry through Juvenile mostly have the vertical bars...
