Running my Compound Miter saw in the middle of the night ought to be Pissin' off the neighbors by now...

When buying those Xmas LED's please check that you buy the 2 Watt LED's.
If you get the 1 Watt type, they'll not have enpough light to reach the bottom of your tank!
The 2 Watt LED's will easily reach 2 foot through the water. I just bought a 30' lightline, bundled the LEDs together and kinda threw them on my tank. Looks stupid but is actually the best addition made to my tank ever!

and i can't get those nightlights on camera, but this gives a lil' bit of the idea.

All cuts are done and 1st Sanding of surfaces to be screwed together are finished.

I'll be using standard PVC cement and #8 - 3" galvanized screws.
It's hard to find stainless steel screws in this type, so I went with the next best thing...
3 in. galvinized #8 screws.jpg

I was concerned with the screws all being spaced the same, so I made this Jig to keep things uniform.
I'm using a #8 countersink bit and will make the heads of the screws stop just under the surface of the boards. I'll be able to fill and smooth it out prior to painting...

I will start assembly and post more pics later...
