What do you think of this latest and greatest threat now?

Countries most affected are telling the females not to have kids for at least 2 years

I always laugh when they act like the end of the world is coming with these viruses.

Bird flu, swine flu, west nile, H1N1, and ebola(a few others too). Ebola was the only one I felt could be serious but look how it turned out.

Yeah only 10000 people died because of the 2014 outbreak.

Well its different now with modern medicine, diseases like this are still scary. The black plague wasnt to long ago in the grand scheme of things.

Not to sound cold but if you do the numbers 10,000 out of 7 billion is very little but as said, I was taking it serious and opposed anyone coming into the US with it.

and it should've been taken seriously.
despite the small ratio in comparison to 7 billion. 10000 human lives were still taken by a single virus in a little over 2 years. 10000 is still a fairly large number.
h1n1 killed close to 20000 in 2009.
west nile has killed close to 2000 since it first made headlines in 2009. i friend of mine was actually hospitalized last year with west nile.
i think most of the people that were killed by the bird flu (h5n1) were kids. i know it didn't kill more than 50 people but I'm sure that most of them were kids.

microscopic organisms that will take your life. its serious stuff lol.

i, however, wasn't that worried with ebola stuff. ill blame the media for a lot of the hype. i have a friend that is working with the ebola virus. ill worry about virus related stuff when he tells me to worry lol.
