I think it sounds like a good excuse to get a nice column tank. Either way, thats a sick deal for that light with bulbs so you should get that anyway.

Well atm Im broke but Im planning to upgrade to a 200gal reef after I come from boot. I was planning to spend 2gs when I come back.

Not a bad suggestion Tom.

You are going to blind everyone in the room if you use that 250w'er and mount it high enough where it isnt boiling your water.

But, give it a go, see what you can make work.
