Havent been on in a few weeks so I'll keep it short

1. I love the 50 cal revolver

2. I think you guys just doomed this thread

3. Knowing me I'd be the first one eaten in a zombie apocalypse, So I'll just take ther bazooka (nothing else) and make it a glorious last stand

And a glorious stand it will be! I will see you on the battlefield my friend.

Dont know a lot about guns. .. dont really have them here. But whichever handgun that has the most common round size/type and highest ammo capacity. Preferably not a .22, dont wanna chance deflection on skulls. Same for rifle but has to have single shot capability.

There is a youtube series and it says a .22 is the ideal caliber for an apocalyptic scenario. It takes small rounds, can be turned into a "battle rifle" with some modifications. And ammo is very easy to get for it. Yet it can still take down most game and even zombies in this case. Just takes a few well placed shots.

Why would you think that?...Given that its made it this far with its subject matter a few posts barely touching on past events shouldn't be a problem.

So far Ive been proven wrong and I hope that my wrongness continues, but anytime Ive seen anything involving an opinion and guns somebody has to come in, act the fool and then ruin it for everyone, and Im not picking sides btw (but for the record I'm about tow own 3 out of 3 of the Ca legal guns in the first list)

That YouTube series must be old. .22 is one of the hardest calibers to get your hands on and when you do find it it's 2-3 times expensive as it used to be a year and a half ago.

There is no reason one would need to shoot the brain. Something dying then coming back is impossible. It is however possible for a disease to make an animal (or a human) go crazy and attack other animals or humans. That has even happened on a lesser extent. All that's left to happen is it being spread through bodily fluids. So even if the crazy person doesn't respond to pain, he would still die from normal wounds. I would go with a sailboat (No fuel needed, and zombies wouldn't find me. Even if they did I would be onboard ready to cut them down with a katana. If it got out of hand a .22 would do wonders. Once I made it to an island with sharks in high concentration around it, they would eat any zombies that got close.

Its always available online... just more expensive. The hard to find ones are the same price as .22lr has been. I just bought 500 for 25 which is only $5 more than I used to pay for a brick 4 or so years ago

Diseases usually don't affect fish as well as humans ;)
