So by then if the disease spreads as quickly as it does in the movies as long as we can hold out a few years the zombies would have depleted their resourses starved and died by then.So shooting zombies in my senario would be more for sport then survival.
These are my theoretical answers for that.svang55;4106634; said:there was a zombie thread not too long ago, and I'll repeat what I said in that thread too. I've always been a fan of zombie movies and stuff but I have some questions about zombies that are never answered and that is what turns me off about them
1. howcome zombies don't eat eachother?
2. how do they know the difference between a live person and a zombie?
3. howcome they never attack animals? how do they know the difference between animals and humans, food is food right? heck, we can even live in harmony with zombies, we can breed cattle, goats, even some fish (that chinese carp problem) that can feed the zombies.
anyways, those things never get answered in a zombie movie, so I can't get too into zombies since it don't make sense to me why zombies dont' eat eachother and how they know the difference and things like that
Well from my zombie knowledge, there are theories. 1. they still need something to fuel their bodies, run out of fuel you can't function 2. Zombies are in constant hunger pain, so they are always hungry and they are trying to relieve the pain when they can't get any more food they just shut down.svang55;4106648; said:this is the kind of thing I'm talking about,............... how do zombies die? arent' they already dead? unless you are referring to infected people who actually arent' dead, if so, it wouldnt' take a few years for them to starve to death.

1. In my fav zombie comic series Marvel Zombies, Zombie Captain America said that zombies don't eat other zombies cause it would kind of taste like eating a rotten apple compared to eating a nice fresh apple.
2. I'm guessing they can either smell the difference or you can just see it as much as a human can tell the difference.
3. In some zombie movies they have attacked animals.

The theories very from zombie universe to zombie universe, only thing I don't like about zombies is the inconsistency of "type of zombie" but at the same time that's another reason why I love itsvang55;4106678; said:I get #3, but I don't buy #1 and 2 answers.
In Resident Evil for example, the zombies are like a bunch of retards. Their minds are literally like that of babies or something like that, they have basic motor functions and they may have some memory, but they only act on that one instinct which is to survive, which is "the need to feed".
if that's the case, they should be too dumb to know the difference between a rotten apple and a good apple. they should be too dumb to know who's human, who's zombie right? I liked Resident Evil (the first one only, the rest were crap), but I felt like there was a big hole in the story because of that.
