We have eggs again! Just as I predicted, they would spawn while I was away . Wifey is trying to get pics to email to me later. I hope she is successful. I will be away for at least 5 more days. Hoping to find free swimming fry when I get home

Any updates?

Well that was another failed spawn.
Eggs turned white with the fungus again.
Just did a 50% water change yesterday, and they are back in action
cleaning the spawning site and moving gravel about.
Just checked a few minutes ago and it looks like the females
ovipositor is begining to drop. I hope to find another batch of eggs
tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers that this male is not infertile.
Anyone have any info on preferred water parameters or anything else that may help produce a viable batch? They are in a 90g and I dont want to use methelyne blue; any suggestions?

Just checked the pH and it's at 8.0.
I think I'll do another quick 10 or 15% WC.
The pair is cleaning the spawn site and it's lookin like
we'll have eggs again b4 morning.
Any suggestions on anti-fungal medications?
I read somewhere that a light dose of Pimafix of Melafix might work
can't remember which.
