Zonatus, Coatz, Syn...hybrid?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Your fish also has a"normal"mouth.
Hartwegi has an overbite to the top lip.Another trait found in hartwegi and not fenastratus which your fish resembles.

This guy would turn into a rainbow! Was an odd fish, and sadly had to find a new home when I moved.

I'd love to order the exact fish I want, as young, grow them out...most the fish I have are large aggressives that people don't want anymore.
I want to order several baby Zonatus, from different suppliers/breeders and have a beautiful blue pair!

So why did you get large aggressives people don't want anymore?! lol. Why didn't you get a couple of baby's for about 3 quid? lol

I take them when people would rather flush or throw them away simply because they have grown too large and the people are stupid. I get them beat up, sick, done with life and heal them up and find them appropriate homes. It's my passion, to see to it that these fish get a life they deserve.

Ah that's lovely, I'll keep you in mind when I get bored of some! Save them from the BBQ! lol

Ya, if you've ever seen a fish, especially a species you love, maimed, starved, stunted, missing parts you'd not think it so funny. I'm not getting all grouchy, just saying

Yeah and I respect that, nobody likes to see a maimed animal! But it's hard to empathise when you are choosing 'species you love' over others as if they somehow deserve ****tier life because they aren't as endearing to you?

The fact that you bought them as 'big' aggressives means they have lived a significantly better life than most, most don't get the chance to be big! How many fish are there that grow to be a foot plus in fish stores and how many people do you think there are that could accommodate a 12" plus fish? Maybe 0.5% get housed properly....

On another note, bringing up babies is a pain in the ass, they always seem to take forever to grow and even longer to colour up because you're inspecting them every day! You end up talking to them..."COME ON, GROW! FFS!" lol
