1:
for starters its a 46 bowfront
filtered by two AC110
its the grow out tank
with one JD 2inch
one oscar maybe 2.5
and two comman plecos 7.5 inch

2:
feed the plecos two zuccini
because noticed they wernt eatting there veggi pellots and stomach was starting to sink in
needless to say zuccini all gone and pleco poop everywere haha

3:
its morning now and tank is cloudy as you no what
looks like a bacteria bloom
tested water and resaults are 0-0-10

4:
question
Did the zuccini make the water cloudy?
water resaults say its safe
idk

yes i water change weekly haha
but of course
as for seeds no i didnt take them out?????!!!!!!
just cut zuccini in half threw them in

hmm how much filtration you got on the tank my plecs get a nightly salad bar every night tomatoes lettuce algea wafers for nurtition and I let it sit there for a whole day dont have cloudy water problems. my plecs are in a 10 gal grow out the tank is turned over 27 times.

bump for more help

the tank is filtered by two ac110 so about 1000 gallons an hour in a 46 gallon tank
so i think alot of filtration
could it be the seed in the zuccini?
ive been feeding normal pellots the only change was the zuccini that i added
and then bam cloudy water and pleco **** every were
it has to be the zuccini but why????

it happens in my bigger tank aswell just not as bad i assume cause theres more water to spred out what ever make the tank cloud up
135
fx5 two ac100's also

no one eles has had this happen?
am i the only lucky one?

I would do a 50% water change just out of principle.

Sounds to me like an ammonia induced bacterial bloom. Those clear up in about 20 hours in a well filtered tank, but are typically accompanied by an ammonia reading for the first few of those 20 hours.

How long after you saw the cloud did you test for ammonia? (Liquid test or dip sticks?)

i tested in the morning
with API liquid test
so maybe test again?
bio media used is the HAGEN AC110 media
two big bags of it in each one
and then sponge
no carbon
