Could I super glue his holes shut? Would it help
I think its probably already sealed over by now, so I would just leave the gar alone and not induce stress

Sealed over? Maybe the pic doesnt do it justice I can put my finger through it! I can see it gaping.
Personally, I would just leave it be. Animals can be resilient and survive ordeals that seems improbable. Keep us posted. GL

will do his swim bladder wasn't punctured as best I can tell no bubbles ever came out of his holes and he still takes air

Yes its posted but i need another sign that says if your gonna poach, poach carp! Im not interested in getting a couple kids in real trouble.
