Ill clean the tank tomorrow night before the Cubs game and take a better picture. He likes to hide in the plants. Both looks great, i wanna see the hybred more head totail, you dont see hybrid everyday, lolz.
Thats one nice hybrid, im really amaze. What everyone's dying to see. Lamar the Hybrid and Queen B the very fat Ornate. Along with their 3 tank mates, a striped Raphael Catfish, a Bristlenose Pleco(apparently escaped a picture), and a Mpimbwe Frontosa whos like 10-12 inches and I've had her since she was like 1.5 inches.

I wont do it, ill wait till they are about 9"-10", ornate are killers when it comes to small polys, if the ornate dont eat the small ones it will beat it up, one the other hand the hybrid, its a lower jaw and it can swallow the small ones. I recently had a 6" senegal with my 14" dabola endli, and it didnt go well. I have the video to prove it.I want all opinions on this one.. When is the best time to put smaller polys with larger ones? I've been growing out the babies now for months and the endli and lap are both over 6 inches. My 2 larger ones are 12 inches at least. I'm worried that Lamar will eat the smaller guys because he has in the past but those were only 4 inches maybe. The endli is pretty fat and the lap not so much. I was thinking of just keeping them where they are for now and continuing to grow them out but I'm itching to get them into the bigger tank where they'll have a better chance to grow bigger. Currently the 4 babies are in a 20 gallon. I'm hoping to get them into a 36 bow this weekend. I just haven't had time with having been in New Mexico for almost 2 weeks and trying to play catch up since getting home.
