I am trying to raise brine shrimp to adult size to feed my ram cichlids but am having a hard time keeping them alive, i hatched them using the bottle method and transfered them into a 10 gallon with a sponge filter and a desk lamp for light. any ideas on how to raise them would be appreciated...

try this out, you can either spool the line inside the bottle and let the bait free swim but you run the chances of it hiding and the catfish not being able to find it. if you keep the line short and release late in the day you could check in the morning and see if you have your fish. you know...

keep in mind that bluegill have the temperment of a moody oscar and are extremely territorial. honestly i would be very cautious adding that many to a tank any smaller than 100 gallons IMO. either way you decide to do it post some pics! good luck

years ago my dad had a large one in a 125 with two adult arows, it was a beautiful fish and as long as you provide a fine substrate and dont mind your tank being constantly redecorated. because they are cichlids i would be cautious as to how many your put into a tank, i would suggest 3 or 4 fish...
