Well the eel will not survive long at all and i really do not think its good to provide information saying that it can survive months to a year. because it wont.

You need to get your snowflake eel out asap and get it to a new home. That is a saltwater species and will not survive in freshwater. and please learn to research before buying fish.

cant just recut. u will be cutting into scrwes and everything. im going to shim the top of the 2 x 4's which will level the plywood out that lies ontop.

what do you mean by score it? i dont have a router either. so how bout i take the 3/4" off, shim the 4 corners (top of 2x4's) as necessary. Check with the level (1 end on each corner) and screw the plywood back down through the shims into the 2x4's.

i was thinkin 2 options. 1: use a planar to try and plane the hump out of the top 2: remove the 3/4" plywood and replace it with a 1/2" piece, hopefully the half inch would form a bit better.

woud you say they have overrun your tank? If so, do you have to worry about feeding them? And also i have 4 adult nerites, do you think they will reproduce too quickly and overrun IF they were successful breeding in freshwater.

Well good news and bad news. Bad news = There is more of the small white spots...... They dont move from what ive noticed but there is more. Good news = The snails seriously cleaned my tank like crazy, I have zero algae, pretty much whatever it was (mulm or algae) on my plants in those pictures...

they are nerite snails, how could they be eggs when these snails only breed in brackish water? My filter is a 40 gallon rated on a 20 gallon tank, it does the job so i dont think its mulm build up, my tank is also very understocked IMO....What about some siamese algae eaters?
