right

this is hard to explain and i can get a video up i will

all the fish in my tank are acting normal apart from my 3 p14

water parameters are fine ph 7.2 nitrate 5 not worth mentioning the others

this is what only the 3 adult p14 are doing and not a marble or leo

1st they go back and forward a few times on the tank base then stop and seam to have a little fit like they are pumping food but much stronger

they have not fed now for 4-5 days showing no interest in food or even moving around much

any ideas or has anyone seen this before
 
very odd for that to be just with the p14's richard, doesnt sound like good news. leo and marble no signs at all and eating well? how often are the p14's doing it? how's the temp on the tank?
 
the marble and Leo are not doing it at all and eating fine

the temp was at 82 but i have kicked it up to 86 now to see if that helps

they hardly ever move and are breathing fine

they have a lot of body weight so I'm not scared yet
 
Any new stock? What are you feeding?
 
Sand if i remeber correctly unless richard changed it recently.

My flower pair are the only rays in my tank that will occasionally shake or quiver for about 2 seconds then stop. I see them do it about once a day. Does that sound similar to what yours are doing? My tank is bare bottom and the flowers have no other change in behavior. They eat and swim all over. I am not to concerned but I wonder if different rays can tolerate things differently. Maybe it is a gill fluke and the other rays are immune?

just the Leo

pellets and prawn

i fed lots of food for about a week when i was getting the Leo feeding

i also fed some live river shrimp which made my 1st thought a digestion problem
