As long as your water params are good and your doing frequent WCs and you have good filtration then your fine. I'm running a 60 gal skimmer, a 65 gal canister and a refugium on my 20 gal.

Rule is BS. Agreed. One thing that I will point out, and it's just my personal opinion, but once that YT hits about 5", I'd look into rehousing it. It seems like larger Yellow Tangs become bullies in smaller tanks. Though some people will disagree, if you're looking for a colorful, active tang that could live it's life in a 55g, a Kole tang would be a good bet. Rest of your stock looks fine though. Just like everybody else is saying, if your system can handle it, you're doing fine.

Good move. If you want something cool that isn't a fish, get a tuxedo urchin, the thing is hilarious!
