180 vs 210 gallon

I had the same conundrum when i got my 210. The height makes it look a lot better, and the added water volume is a plus, I have south americans and a couple rays in mine and to be honest, some fish really do occupy all levels of the tank.

because of this I actually bought a 110 yesterday to upgrade my 75 for the same reasons.

Over the long haul whats 100$ more for the 210 I suppose. You guys made some really good points on aquascaping options with the 210

This is mine, the piece of drift wood on the left is 26" tall and didn't fit in the 180 I was looking at. I loved this piece of wood and was part of my decision to go with the bigger tank. I thought why kick myself in 6 months so I went with the 220. I'm glad I did.

#1 your tank is fantastically beautiful

#2 tall tanks always (most always) look better and more impressive, especially to non-fish people.

jc1119 when you built your stand for your 210 did it cost under 100$?

I prefer width over height but if the had the money I'd go for the 210
