I think these are geos eggs. I can see the female chasing away other fish that come close. These pair laid egg maybe a month ago and the male ended up eating it. I am not sure why they have eggs at this early stage. Might not be fertile. Apologies for the crappy pic. I will try to get a better one this weekend during night time.

Eggs are fertile besides the white ones, breeding age starts realll young in cichlid communities

Many Geophagines are Larvophillic mouth brooders.
Once the eggs hatch, the parents take the fry in the mouths, and hold the fry in their mouths until able to fend for themselves.

Update: The eggs were eaten by the community while I was feeding. I made a mistake of dropping the pellets above the eggs and the female who was heavily guarding the eggs was not able to defend it because of feeding frenzy.

Got a good photo of the choc today.
