I think these are geos eggs. I can see the female chasing away other fish that come close. These pair laid egg maybe a month ago and the male ended up eating it. I am not sure why they have eggs at this early stage. Might not be fertile. Apologies for the crappy pic. I will try to get a better one this weekend during night time.

Eggs are fertile besides the white ones, breeding age starts realll young in cichlid communities

Update: The eggs were eaten by the community while I was feeding. I made a mistake of dropping the pellets above the eggs and the female who was heavily guarding the eggs was not able to defend it because of feeding frenzy.

Got a good photo of the choc today.
