I think the rock that the tank came with is lace rock. Probably a few hundred pounds of it. Half of it did stay wet so I'm thinking a lot of the bacteria survived. I know that 2 of the 3 serpent stars are alive as I've seen their legs probing underneath the rock work.

As of today Ammonia is barley readable. Nitrites are undetectable and nitrates are between 10-20. Not sure why I never saw a increase in nitrites. I'm wondering if the Bio-Spira has anything to do with it. I The rabbit-fish seems to have foggy eyes and they've been like this since I set up the tank. I don't know if the eyes were like this before tank was moved. It almost resembles a cataract. But he is constantly swimming and loves to eat. He shows no signs of stress. Another problem I'm having is the water temp won't drop. It's hovering between 80-81f. I unplugged the heater and it still at this level. I'm thinking the pump for the wet/dry may have something to do with it. I would like to get a protein skimmer for this tank but a skimmer for a 300 gallon tank costs a lot more than I can afford as I'm not working at the moment. Now I need to find a large tank for my S/A Cichlids as they are getting to big in my 75.

The rabbit is my favorite as the coloring is breathtaking. He has a nice personality as well. I hope the cloudiness in his eyes is nothing serious.

What do you mean about problems with the bicolor?
