So thats you?? I came across this pic before on Google and thought it was photoshopped because of how deep red it was. Looks like a the Swedish Fish. LOL That thing is suoer red!How about this one I caught some years ago?
Thanks for the link. It makes sense since most of the wild caught red devil on YouTube have a very deep orange/red color. There was a good discussion on this in this previous thread:

Those are awesome videos, but to me they still look orangish red, not red. I do think there is some truth to the idea of sunlight or UV rays affecting the vibrant color of the fish as was posted in the other thread on this topic. In my opinion there are at least 3 factors: 1) genetics of the strain of fish (and variability from fish to fish within the same batch), 2) Nutrition - need to provide proper nutrition that supports good health and includes color enhansing components, 3) Lighting - as shared in the other thread this is used on some fish to "tan" the fish and enhance their color. I am of coarse ignoring other parameters of good quality water, water temperatures, sufficient swimming space, and low stress environment. Just my opinion based on observations - no scientific references to support this. Thanks for the link. It makes sense since most of the wild caught red devil on YouTube have a very deep orange/red color.
