black or silver?

Now I'm confused. I thought that if they had pink on thier fins it was a silver but both pictures have pink on both fins.

Lol, this thread still going strong. The OP's arowana is a silver. Yes, I know what I stated earlier :liar: That arowana shows no traits of a black arowana whatsoever. Not barbels, jaw structure, body shape nor fin/tail shape/size is that which you would find on a black arowana of that size.

Color is dependant on lighting and the photo processor of the camera. This is a poor way to identify the fish.

To the OP, more pics and a video. Take the pics at night with a flash. If you take them at an angle the reflection of the flash wont ruin the pic. It's almost as if you are only posting pics that look like it could be a black. Though you did post one pic in the other referenced thread that clearly shows your arowana with no dark coloration in the fins at all. Definitely showing it is a silver, for all those that identify by color alone.
